How can I establish what level I should be in?
Once you have contacted us, we will send you our Placement Test. Simply complete it and send it back to us so that we can evaluate your level. To do this more acurately, we shall arrange a ten minute phone call with you during which we shall ask you a few questions in French to confirm that you have been placed in the correct level. If you are a complete beginner, it is not necessary for you to take the Placement Test or the spoken French interview.
How do I pay for my lessons?
We accept payment for the ten-week course in cash, by cheque or by credit card on our registration page. Cheques should be made payable to Little Sorbonne Language School Inc. Payment must be made at the time of the first lesson. Receipts will of course be provided for all payments.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
You will not be reimbursed for the lesson, but at the following lesson, we will provide you with the material covered during the lesson you missed and will answer any questions you may have about the lesson you missed.
Will I only study grammar during my lessons?
No. At our school, we strongly believe that a language is meant to be communicated. We therefore put a lot of emphasis on interaction and teach our students practical French which will allow them to speak and write with confidence. We also study vocabulary, reading comprehension and work on listening skills.

Is it necessary to buy the textbook which accompanies the General French course?
No, the textbook is included in the course fee. It is an excellent textbook which features many items of grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and practical skillwork which we will cover during the course. The textbook will be used to supplement the classes as at Little Sorbonne, we write our own lessons which are perfectly adapted to the needs of our students.
Is there a discount if two or more of us join the Beginner French class together?
Yes, there is a 10% discount per person if two or more people join the French class together.
I would like to take individual lessons. Is this possible?
Yes. We offer one-on-one private lessons at your or our location. We offer individual lessons of all levels in General French and Business French. Please contact us for more information and for fees.

c. You will access to 3 different reports. If you want to watch a report, please click on the little videocam at the top left.
d. If you want to download exercises, please choose the level you can achieve: beginner "débutant", intermediate "intermédiaire" and advanced "avancé".
f. Then click on the PDF file learner "apprenant" and download it. Print it and fill it. Bring it back to your teacher who will correct and explain it for you.
